Research shows that up to 85 percent of employees worldwide desire greater work-life balance. As a result, companies everywhere are responding by implementing programs designed to provide better balance, improve performance, and create a competitive edge in employee recruitment and retention. In this session, the speakers will explore five categories of work-life balance programs and the innovative solutions many companies are implementing to address their employees' needs. By matching your company's current programs to these categories, you will be able to discover gaps in your strategy and identify ways to fix them. But once you have a strategy, how do you know whether your programs will be the right fix? Learn three simple questions to ask when launching a new program in order to determine whether you are on the right track; quickly identify and address effects on performance, and know when to call it a success. In completing this HRD process as part of your overall strategy, you will build a blueprint for a comprehensive work-life balance curriculum that addresses the needs of your employees and your organization.
