Participants will be given a brief overview of the Boeing situation to set the context. The next phase will introduce the participants to the Information Gathering Worksheet which identifies the organization, volume, and resources required to present the learning in the existing environment. Given a blank Information Gathering Worksheet participants will complete key portions using information from their own organization or a case study fact sheet. Finally, following a brief overview of the business case format and content, participants will complete portions of a business case using the information from the Information Gathering Worksheet completed earlier and cost information from their organization or the case study. Results of the business case will allow for decision recommendations on learning organization structure supporting centralization, decentralization, outsourcing or off-shoring. The session will end with a Q&A opportunity.
