SESSION ABSTRACT: The title quote from Sam Goldwyn highlights the importance of grabbing an audience?s attention in an entertaining way. Live presentations can still stir the emotions in a way technology finds hard to emulate. In this session, we will look at techniques to help participants develop crowd grabbing openings, overcome nerves and inject color and humor into their presentations. The session content draws on skills and tricks from the theater, politics, great authors and orators, as well as powerful training techniques. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Construct a ?Coup du Theatre? spectacular opening for your presentations. Practice nerve control techniques to enable you to try new methods. Use two methods to guarantee creative metaphors and introduce humor into a presentation.
