It takes practice to become successful at a new skill. Often, we teach leadership in the classroom, but have only limited opportunities to practice it. It can be extremely fulfilling to practice and gain confidence in leadership while providing benefit to a community service agency or organization. Learn the business case for leadership training; creating innovative, outside-the-classroom learning opportunities; and identifying metrics to measure the program's success. You'll also learn how a graduate school and corporate university can collaborate to design and deliver world-class learning that gets results. Learning Objectives - Use tools and ideas to create successful leadership learning. Develop methods to use leadership learning techniques to extend learning beyond the classroom. Apply a methodology of Return on Learning Investment to quantify and demonstrate the gains to your organization's senior leaders.
