Similar to the Baldrige Quality criteria for performance excellence, a Strategic IQ is the criteria for an organization's strategic excellence; it predicts the overall success of an organization's long-term strategic direction. A Strategic IQ audit is based on the Systems Thinking approach, and can be used for business units, divisions, and major organization functions-as has been done in numerous international locations. This session will describe the Strategic IQ audit and the vital and varied roles that HRD professionals can play in using this concept to further strategic thinking, planning, and acting. Most organizations have an annual financial audit and evaluation; all organizations also should have an annual strategic audit to determine their strategic IQ. Learning Objectives - Develop a better business acumen around Strategic IQ. Perform a Strategic IQ audit of your organization, business function, or division.
