What talents do high-retention leaders have that help them keep employees longer than other, less-talented leaders? Research makes clear that front-line leaders drive retention. And you've likely seen some leaders in your organization who retain and engage workers longer, while other leaders manage with a revolving door. The speakers will demonstrate conclusively that leaders have the most influence on employees' decisions to stay with or leave an organization, and that employees who stay for their leaders are more productive than those who stay for pay or other reasons. You will learn which talents lead to high retention, along with methods to integrate these talents into selection, assessment, and development programs. Special emphasis will be placed on the #1 talent leaders must have to retain good workers. This session will be lively and interactive, and you will leave with a plan for attacking turnover by improving your leaders' retention talents. Learning Objectives - Use relevant research to develop retention plans Apply the retention talents by integrating them into selection, assessment, and development programs Develop a plan for attacking undesirable turnover by improving leaders' retention talents.
