We typically feel that effective leadership skills must be taught in the organization we are working in. However there are many places outside the job leaders can gain the skills and experience they need, and then transfer that learning to their job. Examples include many volunteer activities from leadership in ASTD Chapters, service associations, clubs, Scouts, etc. How to identify the best experiences and make the most from them will be explored in this session. \x0D\x0A \x0D\x0ALearning Objectives - Incorporate informal learning into your leadership development plans Identify how the seven principles of learning are integrated into your organization Ensure that the key variables of human contact, time, information, and technology are included in your planning \x0D\x0A
