We typically feel that effective leadership skills must be taught in the organization we are working in. However there are many places outside the job leaders can gain the skills and experience they need, and then transfer that learning to their job. Examples include many volunteer activities from leadership in ASTD Chapters, service associations, clubs, Scouts, etc. How to identify the best experiences and make the most from them will be explored in this session. \x0D\x0A
